I really struggled to stay invested in the disconnected world of The Guilty. It’s an interesting concept that suffers from a lack of physical stakes and an overly theatrical lead performance. The constant "back and forth" on the phone becomes a chore to sit through, and the ending didn't feel like an earned conclusion to the high-stress buildup. It’s a polished but ultimately "empty" experience that proves even a great actor needs more than a telephone to make a movie work
