I loved the direction Predator: Badlands took. It’s a gorgeous, moody film that prioritizes world-building and visceral action over the tired "man vs. monster" tropes we’ve seen a dozen times before. The vibe is immaculate, and the potential for a standalone universe where we see the Predator hunting across different worlds is incredibly exciting. It’s a great movie that leaves you wanting to see what else is hiding in the dark.
